Online Yoga of Parenting Workshop Series
Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world. Being at home 24/7 with our children with no external support adds enormously to the challenges of parenting. We are expected to home school in addition to everything else that we are having to deal with in these challenging times (stress, fear, income, food, survival etc) .
This live 6-module workshop series on the yoga of parenting will take place in the evenings when your child(ren) are (hopefully) sleeping. The content of this workshop series is very practical and will help you tremendously with your relationship with yourself, your child(ren) and with other people in your life.
Module 1: Why is parenting so hard and how can yoga guide our parenting?
Module 2: Why am I triggered? Looking inwardly at our internal wounds from childhood and how they impact our parenting
Module 3: Emotional intelligence: How to deal with our own emotions and how to support our children when they have big feelings
Module 4: Why is my child behaving like that? Compassionately looking at situations through our child(ren)'s eyes
Module 5: The power of connection: How to connect more with your kids
Module 6: Putting it all together
Each module will be 2 hours in length and will include some combination of yoga philosophy, movement, breathwork and/or meditation.
Cost for this 12 hour course: $135, but sliding scale and scholarships are available. I will post details about times and dates of this workshop series soon. In the meantime, if this is of interest to you, please text 310-227-9451, so I can share the dates as soon as they are available. Open and applicable to parents with children of all ages.
