Compassion and Kindness
Many of us engage in negative self-talk and we are quick to label, judge and treat ourselves and others poorly. Can we create kinder and more responsible models by treating everyone who crosses our path with kindness, compassion, and connection, starting with ourselves?

Eight Limbs of Yoga Series

Letting Go of Perfection
We are encouraged to lead perfect lives: with perfect bodies, a perfect partner, a perfect house and with perfect kids, but we are human and this perfection is unachievable. As a result, we might get disappointed by our reality and be very self-critical. This yoga practice is about letting go of perfection and celebrating our uniquenesses. This class requires a CHAIR as a prop.

The Air Element (Vayu)
The air element focuses on prana (breath) and heart openers to help us come to terms with accepting what is. Giving and Receiving
Giving and receiving is an energy exchange and can apply to giving and receiving physical gifts as well as less tangible things like compliments, feedback, and wisdom. For many of us, receiving is more challenging and uncomfortable than giving. This class offers the opportunity to practice receiving with grace and vulnerability so that these gifts can be reflected back into the world.
