Feedback from Meditation Workshops in 2019 and 2020:
"For me, your [meditation] workshop was everything I wanted and needed it to be. A little bit of academic background and a little on the connection to yoga combined with a lot of practical learning. Being introduced to five very different types of meditation was interesting and extremely useful. What I found helpful was that I had a notion of what kind of meditation might work best for me, but it turned out my preconceived notions were a bit off. And then the handout as a resource. It was perfect"
"WOW!! Well done! I learned so much so quickly about meditation. Better than any book! Bravo"
“The Meditation seminar today was EXCELLENT! I learned a lot of new techniques to keep practicing and be consistent with my routine. Very cool having it be virtual, hearing everyone’s different perspectives, and definitely worth every penny, plus 10x more. Looking forward to the next one 🤙 Gracias!”

Santosa Yoga and Health's teachings are based on the 8 Limbs of Yoga. In this approach, meditation is considered the end goal of the practice of yoga. Each of the limbs, including asana (yoga postures), are practiced so that yogis can sit down to meditate with more ease (and less physical discomfort). We include some elements of meditation practice in all our yoga classes and on our retreats. We also offer meditation as a stand alone class or workshop.
In Daniella's practice of meditating and through working with her students, she has found meditation an opportunity for
- reducing stress and finding a needed mental pause in our often busy lives
- getting to know, accept, and love ourselves as we are
- connecting with the present and learning to live in the moment
- learning mindfulness and how to connect with it in all aspects of our lives
- discovering gratitude and appreciation for what we have and the small details in life, leading to a more positive outlook
- finding perspective on life so that we can respond rather than react to whatever life throws our way
Essentially, meditation helps us experience life with more patience, intrigue, and appreciation.
Our approach to meditation is down-to-earth and accessible for all. Our meditation classes usually incorporate a theme, mindfulness, breath-work, mantras, chanting, and/or guided meditation. Come and try it out!
