Healing Alongside Grief Retreat: A Day of Healing and Remembrance
Please connect if you are interested in the next event.
The intention behind this retreat is to help you come back to your higher self by addressing and honoring your pain and connecting with others. We cannot release pain until it has moved through us. There are common misconceptions about grief and pain. The pain is not our enemy, it is our friend, it is our biggest teacher and requires to be met with love in order to be released, in order for us to heal. Dance with your grief!
This deeply healing inner journey sets out to release pain stored in both your body and mind, recharge your soul batteries and replenish your heart with peace, joy, and love. We will pull out a chair for our grief at the dinner table and hear what it has to say and send it all of our love before we go our separate ways, until we meet with it again.
This day-retreat will provide a space where people can gain tools to cope with their pain, heal and find light again, to live a peaceful life alongside their grief. At a time when there is a tendency for people to isolate themselves, this retreat offers an opportunity to heal in community – a place to encourage, support, and inspire one another.
This will be a day of self-care, community, and remembrance. We will practice yoga, meditation, breathwork, journaling, and poetry writing and remember and honor our grief and loved ones. We will share nourishing vegetarian meals together and there will be time to swim, reflect, and breathe in a beautiful environment.
Please note that this retreat is open to everyone regardless of flexibility or yoga experience. Lunch, dinner, coffee, and tea are included. Part-scholarships are available, so please do reach out to apply.

The Space
This luxurious property, located in a gated community called Beverly Hills, conveniently situated just minutes away from San Juan, has many spectacular amenities.
The space was designed with so much nature surrounding it and built into the architecture. There are many small ponds and spaces around the property for contemplation and a roof terrace for stargazing.
There are plenty of beautiful views of the surrounding hills and forest, and a lovely path down to the basketball court with wonderful tropical plants, fruit trees, and lots of lizards. The property is surrounded by 1.4 acres of gardens full of lush vegetation and paths perfect for walking or practicing meditation.
The private pool area is wonderful, with a large outdoor area adjoining it (tons of COVID friendly spaces) including a covered outdoor space where you can eat meals, practice yoga, or just relax and join our workshops. There are also multiple common spaces around the house with some beautiful artwork.
